If you set Steam to Offline Mode it will let you keep playing the game and will not auto update. If you choose to keep auto-update on, then you have to wait occasionally for FMRTE to be updated.

An new update just came out to the FM17 game, you will have to wait for an new update of FMRTE which they are working on.. I can't imagine it will take long though.

Even when pausing the update download before it starts, it is impossible to load FM17 also. Bloody tricky Sigames. It's only a small update so one would think we wont have to wait long. That's all I'm saying

Let me make something perfectly clear, no more of that s*** in the initial FMRTE 17 thread or else. I will be so harsh on you lot that you wish you were not associated with FMRTE. I have been very lenient with everyone until today, no more mister nice guy. Anyone even attempting to start s*** like that will get a months' posting ban and repeat offenders will get more harsher punishments. That s*** stops here and now.
