Can you add a retirement date to a player?

I have found a workaround

 

make a player  older / change the age to late 30s and tell him would make a good coach(staff job) via interaction after a few days he will announce he will retire at a given date ...you can then change his age back to what it was and edit that retirement date, a new tab appears in FMRTE

 

 

now this should be possible in presets and I have set one up and it partly works in that the player shows as retiring

 

 

 

added preset to Pogba+ Matuidi but when you check their profile there is no retirement tab as per the screenshot of Piszczek

rookie error

spotted it I set retirement to 2018😁

changed it 2019 still no joy

 

retire date doesnt show up

 

@BraCa @GoBLiN what I am doing wrong with this I have created many presets with no issue is it bugged or am I missing something

Tried using clone player too, same issue the RET notice shows up on the cloned player,but no retire date tab to edit

and nothing in player's bio in game saying he intends to retire

submitted a bug report as there has been no input  from devs, and just need clarification if it is bugged or a feature not working or more likely I am missing something obvious 

 

 

FMRTE cannot add players retirements, only change them if they exist.

 

I might try to add this as a new feature, but I'm not sure if it will work, I guess I'll have to give it a try.

it is there as can be seen in the preset options

 

I am glad I wasnt missing something obvious

 

would be good to get that working as you see it is to an extent the RET info appears alongside the player but it doesnt generate the tab

the best way is to do as my workaround make the player old etc

On the other side, it is pretty easy to get a player into retirement.

 

Make him 40 years old, lower his CA, his natural fitness, increase his injury proness and put him in the reserve team.

Wait a few weeks and he will anounce his retire date.

 

Although I prefer to edit the future transfers and get some money for him
