Is there any way to force a retirement or to delete a player entirely from game?

 

I have searched and can't see anything re it.

what has worked before is if he is over 30 chat to him in game using interacrion tell him to consider a staff job when he retires 

within a couple of days he announces his retirement at end of contract.....edit contract accordingly

 

who is the player?? and why do you want him out of game

It''s 37 year old Chiellini who is on 160,000 a week and won't budge. He's a leader and captain and I need him gone as he won't even accept the captaincy going elsewhere. Genuinely doing my head in

We were both right

Make him 40+ years old.

Set his CA way lower than his PA

Put him on 'Backup' (when you do this in FMRTE he won't complain)

 

Probably the most important:

Set his ambition to a very low value and his controversy too

 

After a while you will get the message that he will retire at the end of the season.

As always .... fiddling with the player attributes (especially the hidden ones) is usually a matter of common sense.
You can set personalities of players so that they are hard working perfect personalities who do not complain or you can make them really bad guys who will unsettle a whole squad (perhaps when playing for a rival team ).

To be fair, you cannot make players never complain, in this game they always find something to complain about no matter the setting.

as said earlier if OP wants rid set contract to expire next day its that simple

 

you can then either in game offer him a termination so will cost a few k(unless he has clauses in contract which you could remove anyway)

or just let it expire he is off your books next day...gone...someone elses prob

At least you can achieve the situation that they never complain about playing not often enough:

Set the contract to: Leaves club at end of contract

and how to remove a coach? and retire him?

do the same as the hints above??

 

you can swap a manager at any time too

 

expire contract make him/club dislike each other etc etc
