GoBLiN
Hi please make sure your anti-virus ain't putting fmrte.exe in quarantine or blocking some how.
greyfox
As GoBLiN mentioned above, your anti-virus is probably the cause. Add the software to the trusted/excluded list.
sjakiepp
During my installation I get a message saying that a temp file contaminated with Packed.Win32.Krab. I did added the FMRTE installer to trusted files in my Anti Virus. Has anyone else have this problem? @Edit: I "rescued" the temp file from the anti virus' quarantine and I tried to rename it myself. Windows 7 reports that I do not have the ownership of the file. When I try to get ownership of the file throug Settings->Security I get an error message saying Access Denied. With help from Google I tried takeown.exe. This has to be executed in a Command Line window as Admin. But also here I get the same error message: Access Denied. How do I solve this? Aduasen
Turn off your virus protection software. Download the new version Update FMRTE Turn on your virus protection software again
sjakiepp
Tried that. Didn't matter. Installing goes fine, but running FMRTE not. My anti virus is saying fmrte.exe has a Packed.Win32.Krab virus on board. Also I tried a different download location, but with the same results. Just to be complete, I ran a full scan of my computer to check if there are any other virusses or malware. There were none.
