So FMRTE 27 Has been released

It is new to us Mods/Beta Testers so we will be getting to grips with the new layout and what looks like great new features

NB-when using the App-

Run FMRTE as administrator- [This is suggested/ important as most issues are caused by not running the App correctly-RIGHT CLICK ON App Run as administrator]

For Beta Testing

check only one thing at a time save the change, and move the game forward to see if this feature is stable.

If you make multiple changes and the App or game crashes it is more time consuming for the Devs to resolve it, as they wont know which actual edit caused the issue.

Post stating you are/are not running App as suggested if you find any issues

if you get any crashes report as a bug and submit any error logs and add your saved game if the Dev needs it

Just a brief update SI are now calling the Beta version the Launch Preview

Launch Preview (Beta) Window: From Late October to early November 2026 (roughly estimated around 27 October to 3 November 2026, with community trackers pointing toward an expected release on Thursday the 29 October 2026).

How many users have pre ordered their copy or are people waiting to see what the feedback is on the game first and for discount offers?

Just had a quick look and FM27 is not available to pre order yet, which seems odd with the full game release less than a month away and the Beta, sorry Launch Preview less than 2 weeks away

it late to pre order should be able to do that now who knows with SI

Maybe they will give FM27 for free after FM26 debacle. 😅

So it looks like -Starting at 6pm GMT on October 29 and running for the next five days, the FM27 Launch Preview will be freely playable across Steam, Epic, the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

Going live alongside this free play period is the pre-purchase window for FM27, offering 10% off and continued Launch Preview for players on Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store. The paid Launch Preview begins when the free play period ends at 6pm GMT on November 3, running up to full launch on November 10. For players on Game Pass, you’ll be able to continue your save through your subscription.

interesting approach this year to try and get the players who gave up on fm26 back. they must be confident its a good game this year!

lets hope it is, I havent really started FM26 I just do not like it at all

its also a way to get the community to Beta test which isnt a bad idea

i didnt mind fm26 but i just found it ridiculous how it took like 3 extra clicks to do things i previously could do in one click. the fact they tried to have the same interface for pc and consoles was ridiculous too. that was never a good idea

The more people test the game, the more bugs are detected.

I have 2500h+ on FM26. I adapted with the change. It was hard at times, but now I know where to find a lot of things (but with a lot of extra clicks).

Really going to enjoy the free FM27 beta. I have a day off next friday, so I will be using that for sure!!

FM27 has been released and the Dev is aware and working on a version of FMRTE to be compatible with it

Please do not ask when an update will be released or start new threads or PM staff on the timescale as that is down to the developer.

He will release it as soon as he can and if we have any information we will pass it on
