Murphy07 Posted December 27, 2023 Report Share Posted December 27, 2023 FMRTE uses an insane amount of memory, so much so that my Mac was at full capacity. FMRTE was using 45gb of memory! Closing down and starting back up does the trick but it's a pain having to do this constantly. Is this a known issue, are there any workarounds or something I'm doing wrong? Try a full reinstall as the memory usage of FMRTE is usually minimal if it persists contact support via your client area and raise a support ticket providing full details of your system etc cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Murphy07 Posted January 2 Report Share Posted January 2 Thanks for the replies, I think the problem was having FMRTE running in the background while my Mac was in rest mode. I only shutdown my Mac every couple of weeks so, I was having FMRTE running for days and days at a time. It does seem as though the programme has a memory leak though, the programme increases in memory by 1GB every couple of hours, also present in Ahyu's screenshots above. Previously, I've had no trouble changing names, but now one of my youth players has a rather mundane "common name" that I'd like to alter. Initially, the change seems to work smoothly, but after some time, the name reverts to something entirely different. I would love to edit or just delete the "common name" but editing won't work long term and deleting it will result in the game crashing Could someone please assist me with this issue?
