There is an issue with the latest version (build 14), an error might popup when viewing a player profile An update will be released later tonight

I've seen that there was an update for FM22. Apparently we need a new FMRTE update for this one.. Any news yet?

Users need to follow the tips below to stop the game updating if possible. So when SI release an update again to the game then The current version of FMRTE will be incompatible for those who did not follow the tips as outlined on the site in the forum rules, AND BE AWARE THERE MAY WELL BE SEVERAL HOTFIXES/PATCHES TO FM23 TO FOLLOW! even in the Beta testing stage! [NB sometimes the update is superficial like a licensing issue and does not mean fmrte needs to be patched, so if you get this prompt like the image below click ok and check that fmrte loads the DB before posting here. If fmrte doesnt load the game take a screenshot and add it to your post it will show the new version of the game that isnt compatible. ] I will outline these again below- Steam (top left) > Go Offline > Restart in Offline Mode Besides the above method to stop FM from updating, there is another method[not tested for FM22] that you can do. Backup the following folder (x = yearly release i.e. 2016, 2017, etc) to another location, however make sure you have enough disk space as this file can be large. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager x To revert back to the previous version, just copy and paste this folder back into the location that you copied it from, overwriting the current folder. This method has worked in previous FM versions, however this may change in the future as either Steam or SI can change the way the game is installed to prevent this method from happening.  The Development team WILL BE aware and working on an update and information will be posted here in due course.NB The update will be released when they can at their pace In the meantime keep any posts about it in this thread and within the rules do not post in the main FMRTE 23 thread NB The time taken answering posts asking things like when is the patch coming out etc delays the actual release of the update. There are to be NO NEW THREADS/POSTS asking where is FMRTE or how long until FMRTE is updated or any similar posts otherwise you will be given a Posting Ban. keep all posts about the release in here this includes Game Pass Users. Once an initial report of an update is made in this thread or on site that will suffice there is no need for anymore posts just wait for the update to FMRTE. With Game Pass Users Only I would suggest you contct the Devs by raising a support ticket via your client area, after doing this post in this thread so we and other USERS see that it has been done and therefore there is no need to submit anymore. Users need to be aware that updates to the game are pretty random so do not assume if there has just been an update then SI wont release another for weeks/months. I have seen 3 updates in under 24 hours in previous versions!!! so as soon as you get FMRTE patched set steam offline NB once you have purchased a license for a product eg FMRTE 23 then you do not need to buy another one to cover any updates to the game the purchase is a one off and covers you permanently for that version.
