  1. Bottom line... there's no need for rudeness, both from the demanders and the responders. I know it's very tempting to lose one's patience at the unreasonableness of some posters, but let's be honest... I would suggest that several of the whiners don't even play the game, and are simply jumping on the bandwagon to stir things up for the reaction. There's a name for them... trolls. And the solution is simple... don't feed them. Updates will be ready when they're ready. Payment of a measly 5 pounds (or euros, whatever) is minimal considering most of us (yes, even those at university, school or wherever) spend more than that every week on non-essentials. The puny cost of FMRTE probably just about covers the developer's costs; hardly enough to get him a Roller or a beach house in Miami. I'm a programmer, and I know I'd be charging at least double if not more for such a resilient (as in long life and stability) piece of software. So to the moaners, moan all you like; it won't make anyone work 36 hours a day just to give in to your demands. If you don't like the software, don't use it. If you don't like the sound of the software, don't pay for it. But if you do, understand that it's a labour of love by the programmer to get this out to the masses; there's nothing stopping him from saying "Screw You" to everyone and going off to play Warcraft full time. Let's chill and wait; after all, it's not like SI where we have to potentially wait months for patches for bugs that should never have appeared in the game to begin with.
  2. It does matter and you don't require s*** son, you pay to use the tool you don't pay to get the tool updated within seconds and that's the difference you need to learn. Why don't you get your 5 euros back and stick it up your a*** or bring out a better editor that is cheaper and gets updated faster. Just because you paid 5 euros doesn't mean you can use it 24/7 nor that it will be updated instantly if at all.
  3. So because you pay 5 euros (which is nothing) you should get an updated product instantly? man the nerve some people have when paying pennies for something and they expect it to be fully functional within days of release, to never crash and it has to be updated almost instantly.
  4. You have to show compliance to the rules and tell others to exercise them Edit: Please keep the language, hate/flame and all relevant posts to zero. I will take action where I see fit it it continues
  5. Would you consider writing a step-by-step how to giude for the users in the "Game Talk" or "Tactics and Training" forums of the site? I'm sure it woulod be of great benefit to those who aren't sure about editing XML files
  6. 5 euro for FMRTE is not at all anything to cry about. If I had to say, I'd say more like 7-10 euro's is this products worth in my honest opinion - please no hazing BraCa is working dilligently as always on getting FMRTE up to speed with FM's patches. Once a patch is released, its not like BraCa just have to press a button and voilá, FMRTE is good as new. BraCa is a human being like the rest of us, give him your support, and your continuous bug reports and suggestions and I am sure, that he'll always try to meet peoples requests where ever and whenever he can. - At least, that is more than you can say for SI's IGE.
  7. Thank you It is nice to see BraCa receive help with development and testing judging by the constant posts from people asking when will this get fixed? why does this keep happening? are you even working on this bug? what are you doing about this bug? amongst other repeated questions. Great comparison to the 5 euro cigarettes and FMRTE, for the most part, is good for you as you can correct information within your save that SI have either got wrong or can't implement due to some legal and/or license issue.
