hello I have issue with changing name

1. Only can use the same latter name for example 7 words for 7 word if you want to use 6 words and change 7 words you can't use it. and it has been issue since 2019

2. edit name effect other player with the same name

1) That makes sense as the entire name needs changing, not just one of two letters in my opinion.

2) This is correct.  There is no other way around this other than the pre-game editor.

As link shows it has been requested and if the Devs can change it I am sure they would have 

 

but this has been the case in every version of FMRTE

First issue have been there for 2 years. Other editing app can do it without problem hope you can fix it too this year

This is not a bug, and won't be "fixed".

 

The best way to change a player name, is simply to select a name that already exists ingame (by pressing the magnifying glass).

 

Only for the rare cases where the name you want does not exist ingame, you need to edit, and in that case you have the restrictions discussed above

 

changing the title to thread as it doesnt make much sense

anyone wanting this feature added if possible in future vote for it here[at this stage it isnt possible the Devs have tried]
