Try only to set his contract until 2020, and then change it every 3. years..., there is some rule regarding too long contracts, don't now if it is changing in... Otherwise: Make him love the club, you (all 100) and make his loyalty to 20 and professionalthy to 20, and his Adaptability at 1..., than should make him not want to go anywhere.1 point

we all want things mate but it isn't doable with in game editors at the moment this is why I haven't even started a save yet still using pre game editor to set things up so when I do start don't hit something that I could have resolved easily before I started playing worth the wait anyway game needs patching and we all know it will be February before that stops1 point

Hi please make sure you are running FMRTE as Administrator (right click on FMRTE icon select "Run as Administrator") this is the most common issue for the behavior you are describing.1 point
