1st of all, a disclaimer - this topic is not hating the thing. The tool is great and totally worth it. But! The main reason I get FMRTE every year is the handy dandy freezer, altho I mess around with the tool on many aspects, the freezer is most def the thing I find the reason to buy it. In a previous post during the BETA I posted about it being a little worse than before, right now, I'm dumb founded. The preset freezer previously kept the injury proneness hidden stat @ 1, even if when "Attributes can increase" was ticked on, wich was great. For some reason, that no longer happens and the value is just skyrocketting to the moon on the saves, a bummer really... Other thing that happened was the jadedness stat being defaultly frozen. Had to manually override that one, but since that's a decreasing stat, it was easily fixed. But since Injury proneness is similar to Controversy and Dirtyness (wich the lower value is actually the good value), the removal of the auto freeze on those values and having them increase with the freezer on almost defeats the purpose on using the freezer. Is there anyway to fix this situation? While writting the post, I also checked that both Controversy and Dirtyness also increase instead of staying locked at 1... Ignoring those values on the freezer will stop them from increasing or just stop them from freezing? Thanks for the attention!

Please read and do what is stated in the link above from culturedleftfoot.

There is no way to freeze the youth rating for a nation.  Right-clicking the nation states to freeze/unfreeze the players, nothing more.  Furthermore, the Freezer Settings has no Youth Rating option.

I have found new issue with freezer, I tried to edit youth rating in a country tab, it did save it, plated some time but after Ioaded the game again today, the value is back to default.

That's not related with Freezer at all, since freezer will only freeze Players or Staff Members, it won't freeze any Country attribute such as Youth Rating

FMRTE by default will freeze Injury Proneness, Controversy, Dirtiness attributes, and, again, by default they are not in the Attributes that can increase list, meaning, that their value will always be kept at the same value.

Now, about freezer settings, they should be simple to understand, in FMRTE 22 you can configure:

  • Attributes to freeze - Here you set all attributes that will be frozen, meaning, that from time to time, FMRTE will restore those attributes to the value they had when the player/staff was frozen. In case an attriubte is marked as "Can Increase" then FMRTE will let that attriubte value increase, and will only revert the value when the value decreases.
  • Attributes that can increase - This only applies to attributes that are being frozenand as the name suggests, in this list you can select which attributes you want FMRTE to allow their value to increase

NOTE: If you add/remove an attribute from the Attributes to freeze list you must refreeze all players/staff members

So, this year you have way more flexibility in Freezer than in previous versions.

Thread is a bit old but hopefully it's ok if I post here.

I'm not sure if I follow how you freeze this year. I change the attributes I want to freeze, I press the little freeze icon in the information field.

I then press the SAVE button, but when I go to the freeze manager it's empty?

Care to explain what I'm doing wrong? : ] Maybe it's more flexibility this year, but I find it way more confusing xD
