Hello everyone.

 

I have two questions regarding competitions' prize money.
The first one being: Why do they keep reverting back to their original values after one season?

For example, I will change the prize money of my championship so each team gets 50M, but it changes back to the original values once the dedicated season is over.

 

The second question is: Why can't I change sub-tier competitions' prize money? I can change my league prize money,

I can change French Ligue 1's prize money, but not French Ligue 2's.

I did read it, but I could not post the FMRTE screenshot, since the update version was not available yet ^^

 

But, as it stands, it shows like this:

 

 

My FMRTE version is FMRTE Windows FMRTE 21.1.3 (Build 15), it is run as Admin.
My FM version is 21.1.3-1492907 (m.e v21.3.0.0)

Both leagues are picked as playable, but only Ligue 1 can be modified.

 

And while I thank you for your help and entry in the FAQ, it does not seem to answer my questions.

1. if your edited prize money is dropping the next season then report as a bug

 

2.The Faqs explains some leagues need work pre game to make them then editable with FMRTE is this the case?

Have you checked in the pre game editor as explained in the FAQs

I will take a look in pre game editor to see if Ligue2 has prize money set up

As explained in the FAQs

open the rules for France and there is no prize money set up for Ligue 2

 

 

once done correctly the prize tab appears, so the FAQ did answer your question

I know it’s been a while now, but I’m still having the same issue with my FM23. Due to the weakness of other clubs in South America (besides Brazil), I want to compensate by increasing the prize money for competitions. I’ve tried everything mentioned above, but I still can’t change the prize money in FMRTE.

I activated the "Money Prize" option in the pre-game editor, but it didn’t work. Then, I tried configuring the competition prize money directly in the pre-game editor, and everything seemed fine—until I realized that the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana were broken.

For over 10 in-game years, these competitions didn’t take place. And when they finally did, not all clubs from eligible countries were participating.

Can somebody please help me?

Yes! The only issue is with 'prize money'—everything else I can edit just fine.

I just updated my last post with two screenshots to better illustrate the issue.
