I think this is not a thing that you can change with FMRTE.

In the Game you decide (at the end of the season) when the pre season starts.

Until then the players are on vacation

You have to go to the player profile in FMRTE, click on 'Unavailability' and there you will see a 'Holidays' option, since the player is on vacation. You can edit the amount of days to 1, so he will be only 1 day on vacation. Note that if 1 day has already passed since he first went on vacation he will come back instantly.

 

For example, today it's November 4th and the player went on vacation November 1st, if you edit 1 day of vacation, he will be available right away (because he was supposed to return November 2nd).
