Skrill North or South (that's where I start my games too) players have a CA of about 40.

And you do have a problem since the clubs are semi professional and players who have been at a professional club already won't come since you can't pay them with the small budget.

I usually try to start with a team that has a very young squad (Histon is a nice team) and try to make the best out of the guys that are there already.

New players I get from the youth ranks from where I add one or two 17 year old players into the first team every year.

It's pretty nice when you are in season 12 or so and every guy in the first team has been a former youth team player of your own club :)

Oh and btw.

The AI and scouts search for players the same way:

CA 35-50 Skrill N/S (50 = 5*)

CA 50-70 Skrill Premier (70 = 5*)

CA 70-90 2nd Division

CA 90-110 1st Division

CA 110-130 Championship

CA 130+ Premier League

The recomandations of the scouts are based on the league you play in.

But I think that everybody knows that already since years :)

I believe that there must be a correlation between Team's Reputation and Player's Reputation (Home, Current, World), for using FMRTE to know who can buy and who can not, just find the right percentage for each league.

That of course is true also.

You see that every day as a lower league manager when your players outgrow the club reputationwise.

They start to become unsettled and want to move to a bigger club.

Btw.

When they outgrow the league level with their CA you usually get the message that they want a new challenge
