Heheh it's my post! I actually held back while writing it and deleted at least one paragraph calling for all UI/UX designers working on this screen to be fired 🤣

It's just muscle memory. I've been playing since last night and quite honestly, this is a great version. Previous ones had gotten really boring. This year's is quite immersive.

so far no major bug/issue from my first day since trying to quickly get into the game

UI are bad but more because not yet familiar after years of same/similar layout

it feels like playing free mobile game

There are definitely some UI issues, I'm finding scaling to be terrible on 3440x1440 ultrawide but then it's also all over the place on my 2880 x 1620 laptop.

I'm seeing people claim it takes "7 clicks to get to the league table!?!?!?!!?", when it's literally a hover and click (see below) though. What's worse is the way people are trying to make it a 'boomer' or 'tiktok generation' issue when in reality it's just change. Needs work, but if people actually report bugs, provide constructive feedback, share screenshots of issues and generally stop being hysterical it'll all get fixed.

I agree. Yes I'm finding some of the UI frustrating, but some of that is fixable and optimisable and some of it is just muscle memory and a sense of unfamiliarity. I'm otherwise finding it very engaging.

What is disturbing is the loss of reference points that we have had for years, but our brain will quickly get used to all these changes, I have been playing FM since 2005

I have been using fmrte since football manager 2020. I would like to participate in fmrte 26 beta testing.

Braca is working on it and getting success however SI have made many changes under the hood so it's going to take longer than usual[IMO a few days] to get the app stable,this was always likely as per the opening post suggested😉

Once it is stable then we will beta test- this is for Windows only at this stage, other platforms will be added but there is no timescale on this yet.

So please no posts asking when it will be released

I will update this thread with any news I will probably next update when we start Beta testing.

Great news!

I really like the new ui! There are issues off course, like wrong alignment, some QOL's that are missing,.. I think eventually this will become a great game :)

We appreciate your hard work. We’re eagerly and enthusiastically waiting for the updates.

Would love to test brought since FM11, will be playing beta all weekend so can help with feedback. UI is very buggy atm with glitches for certain buttons getting stuck. Happy to purchase before the full release if I can support with beta

Hi mate! read your announcement that beta was already full. I assume this is for Windows right? I do have a Mac if you guys need help testing on that platform.

Thank god that S.I has probably already started working on FM27. 😁

I only bought cause I couldn't wait anymore, and last FM I played was '22.

I skipped 23, and 24 Waiting for this "INNOVATION." oh boy do I regret it, I wish I bought 24.
