I had only recently(ish) installed FM24 and the first thing I did was importing my old save. But, since it seems not to be working as expected, I just started a new game and hopefully I will not run into any problems. P.s. I am hoping that someone here has the time to test this so if anyone feels like it and has the time, I would be grateful to hear about their experience.

Thanks for the reply. At the small cost its worth a try I think, still not sure what it does that the IGE doesnt do, apart from changing ethenticity, but thats worth the money alone I think. Also hoping the Newgan facepacks work smoother with the FMRTE so again if they do its worth it. My present save I am in season 9 and the config file for the Newgan facepacks has once again corrupted. So I have a choice, add no more new faces to the game, or use the Newgan tool again and give them new faces 😀 Thats not good, so I think its time to have a look at the FMRTE

Hi, welcome to the forum! Yes you can use it with an existing save. And it is easy to use with a simple interface. However if you still feel unconfortable feel free to search on the forum for any issues you have before purchase a license.

Hi If I already have the in game editor and the pre game editor what additional features will i get with FMRTE Can I use it with an existing save? This would be useful as I have a few players with the incorrect ethinicity. Also I use Newgan facepacks and I am having issues after a few seasons withe the config file. Is the facepack installer in FMRTE easier to use? I only really use it for my youth intake or players I sign.....so is it easy to update the faces as and when required.....ie at youth intakes

It may be related to the fact that it is a file imported from the previous version. Have you tested it in an FM24 savegame?

Well, the thing is, you can freeze attributes and allow them to increase. Making it only possible for them to increase. FMRTE gives that option for that purpose. But to answer your question, yes I did. But I have also, as I mentioned in my original post, unfrozen everything but professional. Neither seem to work at all. My players are in a status quo. They always look like they are improving, but when I open FMRTE I see nothing has changed at all. In FM23 I used the option "Attributes to freeze" and "Attributes that can increase" with very good results. This option I tried using in FM24 as well, as it should have the exact same function, but here I am.... In FM23 my players developed fast and I would stop using the 127 code a few times during the season. I'd just give them something between 15-20 for a few weeks - especially during off-season. According to what FMRTE is and has been able to do until now, this shouldn't even be an issue. Hence my inquiry: "has anyone had the same problem?"

If you freeze professional that should be enough for develop. Did you freeze CA or PA?

Hi, I am having issues with player development in my imported save from FM23 to FM24. I use the Professional 127 code, freeze attributes and mark those that I want to increase (basically anything except injury proneness, dirtiness and controversy). An example: 19yo player with PA 180 has CA 150, but stays at 150 for almost a year now. I play him in my first team (top division, champions league, etc.), my coaching staff has 4,5 to 5 stars, I have 5 stars, training and youth facilities state of the art, youth coaches are 4 to 5 stars. Basically have everything that is needed for great development, but nothing happens. I have tried freezing only the professional attribute for 3 months now and still nothing happens. Has anyone experienced this? Should I have edited the save before importing it? (I would if I could, but all of a sudden I can't access FM23 anymore)

That's it, the Unique ID is the club ID, you can set multiple teams, by separating them by a comma (,). It should work just fine, you might need to play another game on that competition for the changes to become visible, or just clear the game cache.

Similar to what the pre-game editor has, it has an impact on where those teams are relegated over the lower divisions

quick check there is relegation so they should go up if they finished in a top 3 position is the Ligue Départementale U19 league active in your saved game?

Hi I am not familiar with that set up but in editor they are registered in the Ligue Départementale U19 due to now being professional and now in ligue 2 they should be moving into the higher U19 set up so looking like a possible bug if this isnt happening, unless those leagues are closed to promotion? you would need to ask over on SI about this you cant use FMRTE to put them in a league cheers

Currently doing a save with Versailles, a semi-pro team playing in the French National division. My U19 youth team is not in any league and only plays friendlies. In our 2nd season we've been promoted to Ligue 2 and have also reached the professional status. I have 1* (12) youth facilities and good youth staff, but my U19 team is still not registered in any league. It's quite hard to optimise their development. Does anyone know how I can register my U19 team into a league? Apparently with the Editor we can add them into a Youth League next season. Cheers!

Hi i suggest submit a bug report as mentioned in the error.

If i copy the player's name or team's name to ctrl+c, you will not get an error message, but if you right-click and copy it, you will get an error message as shown below. If you know how to solve this error, can you let me know?
