Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone has found a way to induce a retirement in a player who hasn't yet announced one?  I know it's possible to edit an announced retire date, but it would be great to induce one...

Would be a great option to have. The brilliant OOTP Baseball series has this.

Any ideas?

I found telling a senior player he would be a good coach etc and then using FMRTE to reduce contract to say a month beforehand

he would announce pretty quickly he was going to retire then you get that tab and IIRC he also shows as a player/non player

That has worked in the past, true, but only of the player is already ancient.

I'd love to be able to 'retire' younger players - mine and others!

just make them older in FMRTE and change age back later

Good idea. I'll try that until FMRTE gets us a 'retire' button.

It's worked in previous versions
