I apologise if this has been addressed but had a look and could see a thread.

 

I play a lot in the Spanish leagues and was wondering if anyone has a way to change the shirt name? Every so often a player pops up that I want to keep his full name in my squad screens but want, for example, his first name to appear during matches.  E.g. at Valladolid I have Kuki Zalazar but want his in match name to show Kuki.

 

Any suggests please...

or go old school and see if its possible using a LNC file  and edit the EDT/INC files within the DB

 

 sure they are save game compatible unsure if there is a code for shirt name though ask over at SI editor forum its old school but I used to use them to change things in game back in the day

 

these files here you need to change them for all DB folders as per real name fix etc

 

I used to have a list of codes I kept such as changing stadium name etc I will try and dig it out

perhaps add it to the suggestion thread so devs can consider it(if possible) in future versions 

This will help you/users who may not be aware of this feature 

 

as said its old school used to use it a lot back in the day, and I might have a play around with it again when I start playing FM19 for things like adding chairmen/takeovers to clubs etc

#mons is pretty good with this I would ask him if it is possible using this method
