Hi, in FM17 using the fmrte in game editor didnt show in game status whereas now in fm18 it shows that I used it. Which sucks since I cant mess with my friend while playing online.

 

Can you guys change this for fm18 or at least make sure its not the same for fm19

This is down to SI

and as I understand it is down to the person setting up an online game who can decide weather or not an IGE is used?

 

I never play an online game perhaps someone who does can give more input

 

 

Well from fm17 or earlier versions when I used to play online and use the fmrte I would still tick the "prevent use of in-game editor". But that would only prevent SI's own in game. At the same time, it didnt show if I used the fmrte. But this seems to have changed with fm18

well it looks like SI have done something to make it show which in my opinion is fair enough on their part

 

as it stops users posting their career results on their site/steam which look good but are not if they have used an IGE

and secondly to your issue if people are hosting an online game its only fair all or none use an IGE  otherwise its pointless😉

Of course it's not fair, but it's fun to mess with people. ;).

 

And honestly I use it to help my friend more than to help me. By giving him better finances and stuff.
