How To Register Non-EU Players (Seria A)

Hi folks, 


I did some searching but wasn't able to find an answer to my question so I wanted to pick your brains on this. 

It's my first new season in Italy after having taken over Torino a few games into last season. I was able to bring in a few great signings but I was unaware of the weird Non-EU rule. Now, I can't register some key players for the Seria A as well as Europa League because they are permanently ineligible. 

I tried assigning them second nationalities as well as assigning EU nationalities to the players currently occupying the 2 non-eu spots, but still nothing. 

 

I'm wondering if there's a way, a workaround into getting your players eligible again and registered for the Seria A/Europa League.
