I have been trying to make FM17 easier for myself but I don't want to edit my team/players rather I want to make the AI weaker in a way (thus why I wanted them to never learn tactical familiarity, unfortunately this function hasn't been implemented for years) does anybody have any other method by any chance?

I used to edit AI's default tactics but SI removed the default folder (basically I put that the AI would play the same formation every single game

Just edit the manager's profile to what you want to achieve.  You can also edit all the club's tendencies to one across the board.  There are many options that you can change, it is just a case of finding the right one/ones.
