A head's up for new users and those like me who can forget to take the appropriate measures prior to an SI update

The 16.3 patch is due out any day now so set your steam to offline mode so game cannot update until you want it to ie after Braca has updated FMRTE

 

NB THE CURRENT VERSION OF FMRTE WILL NOT WORK WITH 16.3 PATCH AND HE CANNOT GARAUNTEE WILL WORK WITH ANY FUTURE FM16 UPDATES

So don't take the chance go offline now, it will also stop the tedious threads asking when is FMRTE going to be updated etc

Why are people giving the devs grief? You are always welcome to make your own editor. Be patient and happy that they are updating it for us.

Not sure if serious or sarcastic. If series, the sense of entitlement in this post in nothing short of astonishing...

 

They are not obligated to update the program as soon as the patch is out. In fact, if you read the terms of your purchase carefully, they are not even obligated to update at all. Of course it won't be good for business so they will probably update it, but can't we just patiently wait? It's done when it is done.

 

 

It is done  just update your FMRTE and enjoy!

MAC we are not uploading it yet we will start working on MAC now so we are aiming to release it tomorrow lets see

As soon as it loaded the game, I had an error saying that FMRTE couldn't save the config file. But it looks like it's working.

Glasswire (my firewall program) notified that the application is no longer signed.

please make sure you are running FMRTE as Administrator (right click on FMRTE icon select "Run as Administrator")

Every time I run it, It always raises UAC and I always approve it. So it's not the issue here.

the config file can be a problem have you tried to change some settings saving it, close FMRTE and re-open to see if it loaded the correct settings?

Just FYI, I uninstalled FMRTE completely and installed again from the download page. Works fine now. Seems like it just didn't update itself properly.

it takes si 4 months to put their patch out and you expect FMRTE IN 5 MINS

A word of warning guys as I stated in the OP do that again

 

reading feedback on SI forum there will be another patch/update as this one is getting lots of negative responses so don't get caught out 

 

 

my game version is already 16.3.0 776853..

maybe the update is out.

just my luck.. i was offline, updated the editor to the latest version, it still haven't supported my game version so i've gone online and updated the game (to a new and unsupported version).
