Hi guys, I'll try to keep this as short as possible.

 

Domenico Berardi on my save was co-owned by both Juventus and Torino.  Efforts to buy them both out never ever worked, even when both teams accepted separate offers (which in itself probably deserves another post on dealing with that crap) so I used the editor to simply remove the co-ownership aspect from the player - in this case, Juve.  Having made Torino the only team that owned him meant I could bid/buy the player as normal.

 

Now it gets interesting.

 

I realised quite early that unless I played Berardi in literally every game he would very quickly lose moral and come to me complaining that he isn't getting game time and wants to leave etc.  Bit of digging around found that he's still on Juventus' 1st team player list, but wasn't getting played (becaues he was playing for me) and thus getting the whole "not playing" unhappiness.  Iooked into the FMRTE player editor on relations tab to remove anything I could see related to Juve, looked at Juve's team on the editor also to try and find anything to get him off their player list but nothing doing.  He does actually show up on the playerlist for Juve in game also, clicking through to the player profile shows him playing for me however.

 

Any ideas on how to get him off Juve's player list without ending every players contract or something drastic??

I can provide screenshots if requested but I figured just seeing his name on 2 different teams' playerlists a little redundant.

 

Mini edit:  Player of course only has a contract with myself making any attempts to expire it not work at all.

had this happen to me but the player (cannot remember his name) was playing at both clubs (on the same time/date) I fixed it by selling him in the end and then to the in build editor and just placed him at my club the other one then disappeared.

ooh, i thought something like that would fix it, having looked more at the player in question i noticed that he doesnt have a leaving date from his original club, so the game shows zero history on his transfer despite me obviously paying for him. do you think if i use the editor to move him to another team and then purchase him again it would work?

that's a work around

 

but it should never happen and you should report as bug, there could be many players like that you are not aware about so report it mate
