I've just got my license but when i put it in and wait for the license from server this error pops up Unable to connect to the remote server (-1008), any help would be appreciated.

I get that sometimes too.  Have you tried waiting for a little while? Also, is your anti-virus and/or firewall blocking the connection?

it Has been Happening for 2 weeks. How could i check if my firewall i blocking connection?

Ask GoBLiN said, try offline activation which will require you to download a license.bin file that should work.
