Hello. What's the best way to get a tycoon in FMRTE 26?

I've tried bringing tycoons into the club using the employee swap option, but I don't think it works because the last time I did it, my tycoon at Grenoble didn't fix the club's overall balance. Specifically, the overall balance was three million in the red, and no matter how many months passed, the tycoon didn't add any money to it.

What I'm describing used to work for me in FM24 with FMRTE 24.

i think @culturedleftfoot has a guide for this somewhere.

The best way to do it is to increase the resources to the owner, and then change the Sugar Daddy to Front End from club's finances.

Hi. When does the owner decide to intervene to inject money into the overall balance sheet? I did what you suggested at several Serie B clubs, and in three months their overall balance sheets only worsened.

I've attached a screenshot as proof.

IMO the finances wont get fixed until the date new sponsorships deals[add new ones too] get generated, a transfer window happens and/or at the start of a new season when budgets get adjusted

just change the finances to what you want

using FMRTE to generate a forced takeover is random, you may/may not get a tycoon unless you have set up takeovers pre game this way you will see finances change as soon as the takeover happens, try it

also change the club's vision to increase revenue etc etc

It's actually a bit different compared to FM24 because I seem to recall that in FM24 the tycoon added money to the balance sheet every month, but I checked it yesterday in an FM26 save and I think you're right.

Specifically, I checked it with Benevento because they had a negative balance sheet and in June or July of 2026 it went to having a total balance of two million euros. Furthermore, being in Serie C, Benevento can offer a maximum salary of up to €999,000 per year to any player.

probably because the club was set up as a sugar daddy front end prior to you swapping chairman?

if you want a tycoon takeover you have to set things up prior as linked in my earlier reply and do a forced change of chairman...

NB IMO the level of the sugar daddy will still be based on the rep of the club+league it is in

A club playing in a lower league wont get billions added by the 'tycoon' a club in a top league probably well

there must be a criteria[or it is random] only SI can confirm this
