I was swapping some teams in a competition draw, but some matches remained unchanged. After I reverted it back to the original draw, I checked the editor and realized that the matches that should be played in January 16 (second ss) are not visible in the editor (first ss).

At first I thought this was caused by the Start Date box, which originally was 1/17/2029, so I changed it to 1/16/2029, but still didn't fix the problem.

Anyone knows why this is and how could I modify it?

I'm playing FM23, version 23.5.0 (1827095)

 

My FMRTE version is 23.5.0 build 25

shows what can be done, I see nothing about changing dates

if a round is missing from the fixtures try the fixes in thread I tagged you in previously

if no joy submit a bug repor add your saved game to it and any error logs

Hi, I tried the debug option, no luck.

Also I found another thing, whenever I modify the ties on the next round, (which DOES include all the matches that are to be played), it only changes the home games, while the away games stay the same.

On the first ss, the away games that remain unchanged are the ones on the date 2/7/2029

I haven't reached that date in-game yet, so I have the theory that once the home games are played, if I change the tie again, the away games will change as well, that or they will change automatically. Otherwise, I really don't have a clue.

I do not understand what you mean here

the are no home/away games

there are home and away teams is that what you mean?

also the second image shows - game 1 previous round- instead of an actual team

so either that game hasnt been played yet or if it has and if it is showing things like that then report as a bug as I suggested in my earlier reply

Hi, thank you for replying

My apologies, home/away teams is a slang in spanish that refers to 1st/2nd leg in the knockout games (partidos de ida y vuelta).

The problem here, is that when I change the teams on a leg, it only takes effect in the 1st leg games, but as you can see in the ss, the 2nd leg matches keep the original matchups.

And in the second image, "Game 1", "Game 2", and "Game 3" refers to the teams that advanced in the first round (which hasn't been played yet), which you can see in the first post of this thread.

Like I said before, the debug option didn't fix any of the problems in both 1st and 2nd round. Although is the latter that bugs me the most, as it's not affecting the 2nd leg matches when it should.

If you know what's up here, I'd really appreciate if you told me. Thanks in advance

the comp is a cup with 2 legs as I understand it? I do not know what ss means

so just to be clear-

1.what are you trying to do- are you swapping teams to play different opposition?

2.are you just trying to swap who plays at home in the first leg

3.Are you trying to change the dates of the fixtures

4.Are you trying to change the stadium

Sure, I'll break it down for you

This is Copa Libertadores, the Champions League for South American clubs. The format is the following:

-1st round (1st screenshot, or ss for short, in first post of thread): 6 teams drawn into 3 ties, the 3 winners advance to the next round

-2nd round: (latest screenshots): 16 teams are drawn into 8 ties. This round is drawn at the same time than the 1st round, so that's why only 13 teams are shown in the screenshots, because the remaining 3 are to be confirmed after the 1st round ends. But the winner of each first round tie is still drawn against another team from the 2nd round. Eg: Game 3 from the first round (which can be either Tacuary or Sporting Cristal) vs Velez.

-3rd round: The 8 winners from the pevious round are drawn into 4 ties. The 4 winners advance to the group stage, and the losers advance to another competition (Sudamericana). But this round isn't the issue, so it isn't shown in any screenshot here.

What I'm trying to do here, is swap the teams to play different oppositions. I tried in both rounds, as it was shown in the screenshots here:

-On the 1st round, I swapped the teams, but the matches played on the date 1/16/2029 weren't affected

-On the 2nd round, I also swapped the teams to play different oppositions, but the change did NOT take effect for the 2nd leg matches. This is shown in the latest screenshots. For example, in game an original draw was already generated, one of the legs was between Ceará and Blooming. I swapped Ceará for FBC Melgar, and it worked only for the match on the date 1/31/2029, which is FBC Melgar-Blooming. But the 2nd leg match, which is played on 2/7/2029, still shows Ceará-Blooming (it also shows in game), and this is the same case for all the changes I've made for this round.

Note: I DID NOT attempt to swap teams from the 1st round to the 2nd round, or viceversa. I am aware that this cannot be done.

The debug mode helps generate error reports

So exit fmrte and re start it see if any error logs are now showing

Ok, but some things first

I checked the FMRTE 23 folder, and turns out I do have an error log, but it's filled with a lot of text, and from what I can read, it mentions changes I made to Libertadores, and some other competitions that I managed to edit pretty well. Are you fine with me uploading all of that text? Because I'm not sure if it may be confusing.

Also, I reverted all of these changes (in Libertadores) back to the original draw, and the debug option is already active on FMRTE 23. So this is what I understand I must do:

1. Open FMRTE 23, and edit the changes I want in Libertadores

2. Save (both in app and in game), and check for the same error

3. Exit FMRTE and open again to see if any error logs are showing (in the txt document I assume)

4. Submit a bug report

Is this correct?

I did the edit again, with the debug box ticked, and restarted FMRTE.

It didn't show any error log.
