Hi 

I think removing bans, then also try going into relations tab remove the entries relating to games played by his last club,even any old registrations

Thanks mate but it's next season already and I go through my seasons like every 3 days. So sending it to someone to get 1 player un cup tied and getting the save file back wouldnt be worth the wait. But thanks anyway.

 

Maybe that could be a future FMRTE add on, to remove Cup Tie from players

suggest it👍 but I wanted to try something it may crash the game so dont want to state the method here

 

also what did it say in his unavailability tab was anything showing there

Nothing was showing in his unavailability tab, unfortunately.

 

If i ever have the issue again, i'll save the game and upload it for you

Player in question - Hernán Grasso. I've gone into FMRTE and removed all connection with Arsenal. It still says he is cup-tied

UPDATE

 

in my retro regens new game on FM24 I purchased Sami Hyypia.

 

Unfortunately this would be his 3rd club this season. I went to his Relations and removed everything not connected with Liverpool.

It worked. This might now work for Cup Tied Players. I will test it, if it pops up
