I spent more hours than I'm willing to admit trying to get around this bug. Only things I can think of at this point are to either update teams budgets manually (very time consuming) or maybe having a "dummy" transfer window for one day before the summer window (I'm not smart enough to know how to do this in the editor).

Either way very frustrating bug

I know mate I have too and the amount of my spare time over the years trying to fix things in the editor is soul destroying, as its something all the time.Taken a few days this year fixing things

NB new platform for 24/25 that should be fun,they have had over a decade with this system and there are still many bugs, so a new one🙄

I am over it totally.I want them to stop releasing the editor that way I wont be tempted, and there wont be any Mods to create.

 

The options are as you say manually but its the transfer budgets only the actual balance/sponsorship etc gets updated

 

as regards a transfer window thats a good call however some leagues /nations have a window opening in june [English leagues] so the custom start date would have to be May

 

also all nations would need to be done manually as you cant set a universal 'mini' window for all nations.

Just a quick one, I started a save using this download with Man Utd and we wasnt in Europe. Just wondering since you have done another update are they?

But if you are having an issue-

 

1.Read this install guide

 

2.Provide exact details of the game version[24.3/24.0 you are using and if its PC/MAC etc

 

3.What Game Mode are you using[you need to select the original mode]*

 

4.Show a full screenshot of your editor data folder

 

5.Provide a link to the file you have downloaded/tried to download

 

6.Unable to download and have activated your license-contact support via your client area.

 

7.Only keep one version of this file in your folder delete all the older versions.

Really not sure if I'm going about this the right way and cant apologise enough if I'm doing this wrong but I was wondering if I'd be able to gain access to the custom date file please? I was given access last year for the FM23 version and still receive emails ever since whenever a new update is released but whenever I've tried to download it's told me that I don't have access or that I don't have the license and I've no idea how to go about getting the license. I'm so very sorry if I've gone about this the wrong way and mean absolutely no offence if I have. I'm a massive fan of your work and would love to play again.

I think I might just be an idiot. I'm sorry. I'd been looking for ages how to get a license and as soon as I posted this message I finally found the page which allows me to buy the license 😅

In the first image from game set up you have several files showing- so you have a folder where these are

 

the second image from 'editor data' shows only one-build 29 [that doesnt look like the editor data file to me]

 

so those other files are in the correct editor data folder that the game is reading you need to put the file with the others

Those files showing up were installed via steam workshop, and this editor data is the one in Fm24 folder.

That wont make any difference see image below, I just subscribed to a file

and here it is in my editor data folder

those files you installed should  be in that folder

That look like files be deleted

should be alphabetical and not spaced like that, it look odd

@Tuley which folder are those other files in? thats where your game is reading the path to get edited files from.

 

 

Just checked file in game it displays in DB file selection and works with no issues
