Ive bought FMRTE for a few of the FM in the past (mainly for Touch), and have been very happy with them.

 

I just want some clarification (due to the changes to touch):

 

Can you add a affiliate club? (its literally all i want it for). Even switching one for a different one?

 

Im using the xbox version on pc.

How come you are using the Xbox version? Could you not get the PC version?

 

Regarding Touch, I do not use that so I am sure someone here can answer for me.  I guess you can't add affiliates in Touch as it is meant to be streamlined.  FM Touch is meant to mimic the days of CM where you could not add affiliates.

Honestly, cant stand the full version...for various reasons. There is no touch version this year, well kinda...they pretty much labelled it the xbox version, so ive got that through my gamepass on PC. Im enjoying it! I think the 3d match engine is actually pretty good this year.

 

Ive used FMRTE before to add or edit a clubs affiliates on Touch, but there have been changes (e.g. database size etc), id just like to know before i purchase.

🙂 So adding affiliates in the Xbox version works? I guess it is not as streamlined as I thought.  I guess you wanted the Xbox version as you can't stand the many tasks you have to perform before you actually play a match?

No mate, i had to edit an existing one (affiliate club), or more so switch them to a club of my choice...pretty easy.

 

Yes. Like some others who grew up with the old games, before they split with eidos, find the game as gotten needlessly bloated these days...and its getting worse imo. 

I only wish the full version gave you options, to turn off/on what you like/dislike.

For instance, id love to be able to do proper training schedules. Thats the one thing the lite version really misses.

Ok.  No worries.

 

I wish that too.  It makes playing FM so much enjoyable and quicker as there is less time to process the game forward.  For me, press conferences is something I would completely turn off.  Another would be the junk mail/news you get in your inbox.
