Brexit- Can I edit this out of my game save?

Please Help! 

 

I am in January 2021 managing York City. Brexit is in full effect in my gamesave. Really annoying because half of my squad is Spanish and now I can't get work permits for their new contacts. Not fun at all!

 

If I buy FMRTE is it possible to edit this out the game in the middle of the game save?
