Why are all my players getting injured after being edited?

It's something I've noticed.

In one save I've edited PA's for a bunch of players and a month later most of them were injured.

In another I've overhauled the entire squad and get one injury per match with two matches ending up with 3 injured players.

I didn't really touch the injury proneness unless it was really high so I'm not 100% sure how it was on the first save but the second was 8-10 max pretty much across the board.
