Hi guys, new to this forum and a first time experience with rte on the new fm.

While everything else seems to be running smoothly, there is a bug that seems to appear about 3 games in after applying any changes on the real time editor that gives players unnaturally high player ratings.

Normally the default player rating is 6.7 however since making any sort of changes on the rte that has now gone up to 6.8. Fairly insignificant perhaps but it does cause a bit of an annoyance in that it warps any of the average ratings. 

To give you an idea, in the last game I played against Blackpool as Swindon and lost 0-2. One of my midfielders who did nothing particularly stand out during the game, ended up with an average rating of 8.5. This was despite having no assists, scoring any goals etc.

Could someone look into this please and address it before I continue my save?

Also as a first time user of RTE I must say how impressed I am with the editor. Keep up the good work guys.

No mate. Haven't changed any player stats apart from bumping a few players up/down depending on real life form.

The only changes I made originally were replicating the real football league tables. Didn't touch any of the players before this error started playing out.

 

you say no changes...but bumping players up/down indicates you have made some changes??

 

 do you mean ca/pa of player/s ??

 

if so as game progresses various attributes will get added to depending on player's position etc this might have lead to the issue you are seeing

 

what I tend to do is before I make any changes to a player I save his original details and so I can revert back if required/or use it to compare to see what has happened in game

 

are you also doing anything pre game eg heal team/using a preset fitness cheat etc if so that will deffinatly effect ratings at end of game

 

 

Bumping as in making someones current ability go from 87 to 92 but generally keeping the same PA. Immaterial changes like that.

I'm only interested in replicating as close to real life as I can, I'm not interested in any cheats that are available on the game.

As I said in the original post, the 6.8 start rating is for every player involved in the match, regardless of CA/PA. As a result all players ratings are unnaturally higher than usual. And this seems to be throughout the game and not just the games I'm involved in.
