Bitdefender blocks fmrte yesterday, he uninstalled and I am unable to install it.

I have the same problem with Bitdefender

I have installed with Vulnerability scan turned off and FMRTE selected in the Exclusion files and folder.

to no avail

Same problem. Bitdefender automatically quarantine fmrte.exe

I deactivated, uninstall FMRTE, put name in exclusion.

restart and install old version first, then install the current version, all go fine now.

There are no viruses in the software's code.  It is just a false positive so it should be ignored and allowed where possible.  Even better would be to add the software to an exclusion list to stop further alerts.
