Okay, so at the start of my save game I can remember seeing a news item saying Spurs would be moving to a new stadium (in the future). In the summer of 2017 they move to Wembley. The news item suggests its a permanent move with Spurs paying an annual fee. I can't say I was best pleased. I spoke to Daniel Levy and told him we need to own the stadium and he agreed - and there's currently a board request set to complete for 16/07/18 to buy the stadium.

I'm still miffed by this and don't want Spurs outside N17. So, I used FMRTE and searched for White Hart Lane and noticed 'New White Hart Lane'. I selected this as the stadium.

Now in the game, I'm still playing at Wembley. If I take a look at 'facilities' in the game it has the details for New White Hart Lane (rather than Wembley) and states under planned expansion:

Due to move into New WHL on 1/7/2018.

So - are these two things going to conflict when the two dates are reached? Or has the game simply continued with the fact that I'm playing at Wembley and will do so until the 1/7/2018 - and will ignore the board request to 'buy stadium' which was related to Wembley (which makes no sense considering its the national stadium owned by the FA).

Your input is muchly needed.

Interesting...what was your in-game date at the time you posted this? Judging by your post, you will move into New WHL on the 1st and own Wembley on the 16th.  This could potentially minorly corrupt your save as you are not sure what the Facilities page will show.  It can show no stadium, both stadiums, maybe a negative value or maybe something different entirely.

I suggest you backup your save and holiday until after the 16th to see what the changes bring.  If it fails, restore your save to the point before the above edits.

Looks like I just make the move into the new White Hart Lane come the  1st July 2018. Facilities refers to the new WHL. No mention of Wembley. Not sure if there's anything historically achieved to do with the board request to buy Wembley (I can't find a reference to it)- perhaps it's been supersided by the fact I added in the new WHL (with the game pencilling in the move date).

No mention of buying Wembley on the 16th July either as a news item (although the request is complete in the board room).

So the edit just replaces the 'buying of Wembley'.

I guess.

Spoke too soon. Went back to play the game (rather than holiday my way through to the future).

I'm still playing games at Wembley but after they're done, if I look back at the game it cities New WHL as the venue. This is probably the game not able to work out the conflicting editing of changing it from Wembley to new WHL.

Bit of a mess.

Guess by the time I get to 2018, it will align the stadium back into place.

Scrap that. It appears to be rotating between both venues (when I go back and play the game through rather than holiday my way through it). I've gone back to an older save and have selected new WHL, but this time it appears to have retained the old WHL with the same 'move in' date as before. No mention of Wembley this time (so far).

Although facilities displays the new WHL has the stadium, league games in calender are for the current one.

The only other alternative is to simply edit the current WHL - giving no reason to move at all.
