Hi,

Wondering if there's any way to instigate a takeover in FMRTE?

I know it's easier to edit finances of a club but, for example I'm thinking of a club like Aston Villa. I want the Chairman to put the club up for sale and see who they get to take over.

Other than that, is there anything that can be changed to improve the chances a sugar daddy taking over?

Not so fussed about it being a sugar daddy, just really wanting to understand if any of this is possible to improve the chances of the Chairman/Owner selling a club in-game?

Thanks

Change the Chairman status value to 1 which will trigger a takeover.

Thanks. I've changed the status (as well as experimenting that I don't thing made a difference!).

By doing what you said I almost instantly had the Chairman trying to sell the club, 2 failed takeovers so far but Its pretty exciting :-D

Only in October so I'm hopeful the sale will go through before January.

FYI, I started as Southampton, No budget, gave them -£20m finance. Don't know if any of that was worthwhile or if it was just the Chairman status that did it.

Anyone managed a sugar daddy takeover through FMRTE tricks?
