malcyelst
Is there any way of removing or editing the agents that some players have as they can be obnoxiously a pain in the rear end!
greyfox
Nope, there is not. I have requested that though. Just ask the player to sack his agent.
malcyelst
Didn't think so but Its more for when you're trying to negotiate a contract for a potential signing and the agents relationship with you is dislike or something like that and you have had no dealings with him? greyfox
I get that too. What I just do is leave him to his thoughts and develop players from my youth team instead. It saves the hassle of going through agents and their obscene demands.
malcyelst
Or develop a way to be able to swear at him as you tear up the projected contract...Well it would make me feel better! Note to self..They are not really real...
greyfox
Yep, they are not real but sometimes, they are a b**** to deal with so I just ignore signing players all together.
ferrari355
if you're trying to sign the player and his agent is giving you problems, there are a couple of ways around it if you're using FMRTE. the only way around it without using FMRTE, i find, is to not reduce his demands for his client too much, but increase his agent fees by a proportionately substandtial amount. For eg. wages reduce from 35K weekly to 28K weekly while agent fees go from 350K to 425K. Usually does the trick. But if you wanna make use of FMRTE, then go to the player's "Relations" tab and put in your club as one of the "Like teams" and give the rating a full 100. Then negotiate as per normal for maybe about 3 rounds, and then "Walk away" from the deal. Usually, that would result in the player sacking his agent. That'll clear the path for you to negotiate directly with the player. Of course, you'll have to re-submit your transfer bid to do so. The player's demands are usually less than what his agent asked for in the previous negotiation.
