Players Agents

if you're trying to sign the player and his agent is giving you problems, there are a couple of ways around it if you're using FMRTE.

the only way around it without using FMRTE, i find, is to not reduce his demands for his client too much, but increase his agent fees by a proportionately substandtial amount. For eg. wages reduce from 35K weekly to 28K weekly while agent fees go from 350K to 425K. Usually does the trick.

But if you wanna make use of FMRTE, then go to the player's "Relations" tab and put in your club as one of the "Like teams" and give the rating a full 100. Then negotiate as per normal for maybe about 3 rounds, and then "Walk away" from the deal. Usually, that would result in the player sacking his agent. That'll clear the path for you to negotiate directly with the player. Of course, you'll have to re-submit your transfer bid to do so. The player's demands are usually less than what his agent asked for in the previous negotiation.
