              I am wanting to start a new game with Sunderland in the Championship, I am going to try and follow what it will probably be like next season and am going to get rid of every one of the squad from this season and bring in all young hungry british players.

I,ve had a couple of trial runs but the problem is the chairman always expects the minimum achievement is to win the league, this is very unfeasible with the players Sunderland will be able to attract, is there a way to change expectations to avoid relegation.

I don't know personally if this is possible as i seldom delve into what fmrte is fully capable of, but i have had this issue myself and i have countered by changing the reputation to a lower level, however the drawback with this is potentially lowering attendances and also the attractiveness of the club to players willing to come to the club.

 

Like i said i don't know if there is an easier way, hopefully someone with better knowledge will be along soon

Change the stats of your chairman i.e. Patience, Business, Ambition, Professionalism, etc.  Maybe his Working with Youngsters too.  If you want, change his Resources too so he can inject money into the club from his own pocket.
