Just a quick one,

 

is it possible to make a Managing Director resign, retire or just leave the board using FMRTE? (not the rest of the board, just the MD)

 

any help would be appreciated!

It is possible.  Just edit his contract to the next day and he will eventually go.  Also, add him to the Relations tab of the club under Dislike Person.

I tried it with the DoF in my save but when his contract is almost at the end, it gets renewed again.  So you can try it but the board may not allow it and just renew his contract again.

It was, yes.  But his contract was renewed on the same day as when it is to be expired.  Like I mentioned before, try it but the chairman will probably renew it.  You can try the second suggestion I mentioned above, add him to Dislike Person.

Directors and managing directors don't usually have a contract in game anyway! Is there any other possible way to do it?
