Since updating it the editor will only load about 10% of the actual save game db. I.e. I have a db of approx 75000 members of players/staff but the editor only finds 8000 thus leaving most player related fields empty. Any ideas?

Have you tried waiting for a bit? This happened to me in build 20 so I waited and eventually FMRTE caught up.
