I am playing a FM12 savegame, and I am in 2021. I just added a new league (Chile) and for some reason, the game messed it completely.

It added hundreds of players to the amateur teams of the league I am playing in (Sweden). They are mostly between 90 and 120 CA, between 27 and 31 years old, and all from different countries with weird attributes and names. Usually they are separated by country (one team is full of Serbians, while another is full of italians, etc)

I am having to go at them one by one (Mass edit can't be used, as there are always exceptions to the rules I mentioned), canceling their contracts, lowering their attributes and setting their age to 40. Since I am speaking of hundreds of them, maybe thousands, it will take quite a while before I am able to get rid of all of them.

 

Is there a faster way to get rid of them? FMRTE has no "delete" function that I can see, but can anyone suggest something more productive than what I am doing?

You're only option is to retire them as the Add/Remove Leagues feature in FM 12 is fatally broken.  FMRTE does not have a delete player button either.
