FMRTE v5 and windows 8

Got a new laptop with windows 8, installed FM and FMRTE v5 started the game, but when i click load nothing happens. It's a problem from FMRTE v5 or it just doesn't support Windows 8??

    It should do, but then again people have reported that FMRTE does not work well with W8.  Have you tried compatibility mode? What about Run as Administrator?
