Many times during my long FM runs in England I wanted to remove Carabao Cup completely. Or at least be able to change who qualifies for it. I believe that a significant change to this competition will happen over the next 5-10 years, given the extremely hectic schedule of English teams. I tried editing fixtures using FMRTE but it did not work to the extent I wanted it to. Any chance we can have more options to edit/delete tournaments to increase immersion playing long into the future?

we have tested changing advanced rules and it causes crash dumps in game so at this stage doing what you want is not going to be possible in an IGE

In the pre game editor you could set up future sets of rules to kick in and either change the make up of the teams that compete or finish the comp at a set date

Hmm interesting. Any chance we could just delete a competition entirely? I have a long ongoing game (year 2044) and I really don’t want to start from scratch 😧
