How do I undo the facepack installer. It has completely messed up my game. The Newgen player's faces was fine but the staff installer has changed all the staff, not just Newgen ones. I just want to uninstall it all. Stupidly, I thought if I didn't save the game the changes wouldn't be permanent but they have been applied to all my saves ☹️.

Help required thanks.

I have now deleted the Newgen folders (players and staff) and all the Newgen players faces have disappeared 👍 but the staff faces are all over the place i.e. all wrong eg. Pepijn Lijnders now has Mikey Moore's face! What on earth has happened and how do I fix it? Thanks

Can you confirm you have read the guide, if not do so

cheers

it looks like you selected the wrong option here-

  • Mode - Defines what FMRTE will do to the config.xml file if it already exists
    • Override - Override already existent faces mappings
    • Override but preserve missing persons - Override already existent mappings, preserve missing persons
    • Preserve - Keeps already existent faces mappings

Is there any way to update the mappings?

I am seeing some error message in the logs that it cannot assign faces for some nations/folders.

I know the NEWGan face installer used to do this because some of the three letter country codes were not correct, but I cannot find any text files in the BRACASoft folder that contain any Nations cfg for the facepack installer.

It's me again. You can find I think my reference in my profile. I followed all the steps and did many times from the link on the site -UltraRealistic NewGan Face CutOuts by RnR & FM.Z-. I chose custom and filters both coaches and players. Everything goes well so far 4000 faces loaded. I saved fmrte. Saved fm 24. Loaded it. Clear cache and reload skin. But the mapping is wrong.

why did you do that where in the simple clear instructions does it say do that? This is approx the 6th time you have done something like this in the last few days

you seem incable of following any advice or instruction given your posts will be moderated in future and will not go live on the forums

How to use it (step-by-step)

1. To start, load your game and then press the image.png to open the Facepack installer

2. Press the image.png button and choose the folder with the facepack that you have downloaded.

3. Make sure that FMRTE was able to load your facepack, it should say something like "Detected Generic/Newgan Compatible facepack with XX faces"

4. Configure the settings that you want to use (Target Persons, Mode, Allow duplicates)

5. Press the image.png button

Then you just have to wait until FMRTE is creating the config.xml

 image.png

If you selected the Copy to game graphics folder option, then after the config.xml is generated, FMRTE will copy the whole facepack to the FM graphics folder

When the process is completed, FMRTE will show you a summary of the operation :)

The facepack is installed, but the faces doesn't appear in game.

After you install the facepack, you must clear the cache in Football Manager and reload the skin.
