Is there a way to make a manager's job insecure so that he would get fired within a couple of weeks?

You could try via relations that chairman/staff/players etc dislike him 

he dislikes the club -perhaps get him to like a club needing a manager

set expiry date of contract to expire soon

drop his attributes ca/pa etc

 

I was thinking that. I have him hating all 24 team members and the staff, I have the TD, GM, DoF, and the other staff hating him. Most team members hate him. I lowered his attributes to the single digits, I'm re-loading the game so that they lose or draw every single game and he still manages to hold on to the job for another 6 months. The club's reputation is around 7,700 btw. It's so weird they don't fire him.

did you set his contract to expire say in a week?

perhaps set him to be really old too[can change it back once he leaves club]

yes 

if you want him fired you are going have to wait it out destroy his stats and have him disliked then its a matter of time
