I'm trying to change the fixtures of the draw of the quarter-finals of the KNVB Cup (Netherlands). The changes made in FMRTE won't actually show up in the game itself. I frequently have this problem, it seems to happen at random now. In some cases, the changes are partially made, meaning that it breaks the entire cup for that season as some ties will simply not get scheduled. FMRTE didn't gave me an error log of some sorts.

So, I usually remove all retirements while playing, but this is the second time this has happened, it happened in FM 23 and now it is happening again in FM 24, after a while of removing retirements, a HUGE list of retirements comes up, I attempted to change the retirement date for players to the year 2030 using the preset option, however, I couldn't use the same preset for staff members, it has no effect. Now, a list with several blank names has appeared and FMRTE is freezing.

Some time ago I published a youTube video presenting FMRTE and what user can do with (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcnfpdvWKdc), and someone asked me if it was possible for him to create a player in his own team and have him to be seen as his son. I answered that, strictly speaking, he couldn't create a new player and that it was the role of the SIGames editor before creating a save, but that he could modify one in its totality.
As I'd never had this idea before, I wanted to try modifying a player by myself in my own save (surname, first name, height, weight, date of birth and nationality, just for test purpose) and then I came across a real problem, in my opinion a FMRTE bug.
Each player is identified by a unique identifier, but you can only change the first and last name of the player if you preserve BOTH the length of the last name AND the length of the first name. Why can't I replace Tom GUPPY with (for example) Thomas ROBERTS ? (Doing that give as result : Tho ROPER 3 letters for the firstname and 5 for the lastname)
What's more, the warning message gives incorrect information, suggesting that I were going to modify several records at once (see attached screenshots).
Thanks to correct it and letting me know.

I created a player in FM24 Pregame Editor.

Once I started the save, I changed ALL of his Attributes to 20 except Controversy, Injury Proneness & Dirtiness.

All went well for about 6-8 games. As you can see the number differences in both photos, MOST went from 20 down to 15 or 16.

Has this happened to anyone else? Am I doing something wrong?

I know I am clicking on the Freeze ball in the Players Personal Details section and then Saving the changes.

Hello,
I had downloaded one of the early versions, and there were no presets available. So, I created some with the unfortunate idea of using the same presets you have always included in your application for years. Later, you updated the app, and your presets were available again. Since then, I can't open the application because it detects a duplicate preset. I tried deleting the presets in the "application content." Please help me.

I'm logging this for the UEFA Conference League but will try for other competitions as well.

Used "register (UEFA)" on a player to bring them into the squad.
It correctly added the "UEFA" registration but the player was unavailable still.
On checking a team-mate, they also had:

"unknown (19)" as an additional registration.

Can provide save game.

FM24 version: 24.1.1+ 1922460 ( m.e v24.0.0.1)
FMRTE version: 24.1.1 build 11
Game mode: Standard/Original
FMRTE experimental features: Yes

Clicking the tab for Stages/Fixtures for Sky Bet League One in England results in this error message: "An unexpected error occurred (Object reference not set to an instance of an object.)"

Occurs every time I click on that tab, I can close the Error popup box and switch to the League tab and back, and it comes up again.

Screenshot shows the popup error and blank Stage/Fixtures settings. Note that I am in between seasons if that matters on 13th June 2028.

Also occurs if you select Stages/Fixtures for other leagues, such as the English Premier Division.
