  • Build: 32
  • Game Store: Xbox Game Pass
  • Game Version: 24.4.0+1967899

The problem I am having is that the freezer option is not working like it did in FMRTE 23. Back then I could select which attributes to freeze and which can increase.

The attributes just freeze, no changes at all.

They neither increase nor decrease. It doesn't matter if I freeze CA and allow it to increase, or if I don't select it in the freezer settings (along with the attributes that I want to increase)
I freeze all the attributes and allow them to increase (except the bad ones).

As you can see on the screenshot my players aren't developing at all, his determination dropped 1 point from 18 to 17, even with professional set to 127 - which should increase abilities rapidly.

My only comparison to this is how well this worked in FMRTE 23, but not at all in 24.

Is there some bug that makes the "attributes that can increase" not work properly? Am I doing anything wrong?

Ok I just noticed that I put the wrong build. I have the newest one.

One more thing I'd like to add regarding the freezer option. It only seems to work on me (the manager), my stats rise like nothing else, but my players don't improve at all.

A few days back I thought maybe this issue was that I had downloaded the .zip file for FMRTE 24 and not the .exe file. So, I downloaded the setup file and removed the old folder. It looked like something was about to happen and my players looked like they were improving but no. Nothing. They are stuck. But my manager improves a lot. So something must be wrong with the player improvement.

To give you an idea of what I mean. I froze all staff attributes and ticked the "attributes that can improve" and it works. But only for me. Nothing else.

Would it help if I would send you the save? Is this maybe a Xbox Game Pass (PC) issue? Are there any files you need from me to look at?

Looking forward to hear from you.

The error log you provided indicates a System.NullReferenceException within the FMRTE application. This type of error occurs when the program tries to access an object that hasn’t been initialized. Here’s a more detailed breakdown:

  1. Error Type: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException

    • This is a wrapper exception that indicates an error occurred during the invocation of a method via reflection.
  2. Inner Exception: System.NullReferenceException

    • The specific issue is that the code attempted to access the Kicking attribute of a GoalKeeperAttributes object, but the object was not properly initialized.
  3. Stack Trace:

    • The error occurred in the Fmrte.Framework.GameObjects.GoalKeeperAttributes.get_Kicking() method.
    • The method was invoked using reflection, which is a way for the program to dynamically call methods.

Possible Solutions:

  1. Update FMRTE: Ensure you have the latest version of FMRTE, as updates often include bug fixes.
  2. Check for Corrupt Data: The error might be due to corrupt game data. Verify the integrity of your game files.
  3. Reinstall FMRTE: Uninstall and reinstall FMRTE to ensure all components are correctly installed.
  4. Contact Support: If the issue persists, reaching out to FMRTE support or checking their forums might provide more specific guidance.

error.log

I uninstalled both the game and fmrte and installed both again. This is the new error log.
I asked copilot to tell me if it can tell me anything about this (comment above), there has to be something wrong here. It's so frustrating that this editor doesn't work like the one for FM23.
Can you please look into this and tell me what files you need from me? This is driving me crazy...
