[18] - Suddenly not licensed?

Featured Replies

What bugs/issues did you encounter:

What is your FM version: 18.1.3

What is your FMRTE version: 18

Which operating system are you using: windows 10

Was using it just fine last night, today suddenly says I am not licensed?

Hi,

From time to time FMRTE might require you to reactivate, usually the process is done in background with no human intervention, but sometimes it fails, and asks you to reactivate.

In this case, you just need to activate it using your license key (that you can grab from your Client Area (https://www.fmrte.com/clientarea)

Thanks

For me - it needs to re-activate every time my PC hangs (hard reset) when i have FM+FMRTE on. Kind of interesting when it will say: you have activated this product too many times, no more activation available...

Thank you, yes I did this to fix the issue, my only concern was the activation limit. It is freightening to have to reactivate from an error with the program and use up my activations.

You won't, our system only count's different machines, so if for some reason FMRTE asks you to reactivate, but you are in the same machine, it won't count as a different activation, so you wont waste anything ;)

I don't know what's causing it, in order to figure it out, I'll need your help, so please update to the latest version (build 15), then do this:

  • Open FMRTE and go to FMRTE Settings
  • Enable Debug Mode, and press save
  • Close FMRTE
  • Go to FMRTE Folder (usually it's C:\BraCa Soft\FMRTE 18)
  • Delete the error.log file (to avoid having old logs in there)
  • Open FMRTE againg and load your game normally (activate FMRTE if it asks you to)
  • Restart your computer (do the hard reset, to force FMRTE to ask you to activate again)
  • Open FMRTE and load your game, when it asks you to reactivate, just do it.
  • Then send me the new error.log file (hopefully, it might have useful data to understand your problem)

Followed these steps exactly and it did not unlicense again.
