Unable to activate FMRTE

I updated FMRTE and I am unable to active. It launches fine and loads the game data but when I change anything I get prompted to activate, I enter my license key and it says 'License Installed. Activation complete.' but the changes arent saved and if I try and edit anything else and save it I get the same prompt.

 

I never got any prompt to run the software as administrator, I have rebooted and deleted the app and downloaded it again and the same thing still occurs.
