How do I run a backup of FMRTE players/club changes? I'm running FMRTE 16

Just go to the settings menu click on the open button of the save you want to use, copy that save file to your savegames folder and load it from the game.

But i guess my question is how did the save get into into my FMRTE and how to I initiate a backup?

Currently I i have one backup file in my FMRTE Backup list.
It describes a player swap i made. (attached)
My setting allow for 5 backups to be stored but how to I generate a backup?

 

"Every time you make changes with FMRTE it will automatically create one backup of your current save game this way avoiding that you lose your precious save game and hard work when the things go wrong...

Please note that not all actions will generate one backup this will be done only for the more complex actions such edition of Future Transfer, Swaps etc."

Basically FMRTE now backups your save game before dangerous actions such Swap Staff this way in case something goes wrong and you forgot to backup your save FMRTE did it for you and you can go back to were you were.

I changed a few staff and player attributes.  
I take it that was not enough to generate a back up but the player swap was.
