The only viable solution is to run a virtual machine on your older mac that runs 11.7.1, but there's no guarantee that it would work and it's not officially supported by anyone either. Otherwise, there isn't much anyone can do.

On Apple Arcade I get this message:

FMRTE was unable to find Football Manager 26 running..

So awesome to be here for FM 26 with FMRTE. I am playing FM26 Touch from Apple Arcade. FMRTE 26 OS is not able to detect my save game. Maybe the rapid fire updates to fix on official release day created lots of micro updates? Either way, FMRTE adds so much to my saves, I don't like to play without it. It's late here in California so I'll just go to bed and dream about editing like it is Christmas. Guys, we are really spoiled by the dev's on FMRTE. They will fix. Maybe a reboot will work here. I'll give it a go before bed....

FM26 Touch is so broken and riddled with errors or dead ends, at least the version I have from Apple Arcade. I am going to get the full version of FM26 and it looks like FMRTE 26 for OS is working well according to these forums.

Can confirm new game update 26.0.4 via Steam works with PC version of FMRTE Build 14

if updates are needed for any other versions including MacOS and it looks they will be the Dev will release one when he can

Thank you FMRTE. Working great on both the full version of FM 26 OS (via Steam) and also FM Touch 26(Apple Arcade platform). As a side note to others on this forum, last year I was hesitant about the workaround, but it does indeed work terrific. Follow the instructions carefully as outlined by FMRTE. For reference, I am on a MacBook M4 pro(with lots of factory bugs/problems) on the latest updates and have no issues running FMRTE. I don't experience security issues as I am prompted by OS to authenticate if I would like to have one application edit another; please confirm to proceed. I use my fingerprint scan key to satisfy the security pop-up and FMTRE loads immediately. I got a full refund for FM 26 through Steam now that I can play Touch with FMRTE. Appreciation again for the FMRTE devs.

Also realized that all the SI problems with FM Touch are as bad or worse with the full game...

If it's a MacBook Pro 2013 it will support Big Sur (MacOS 11 within a few updates as performed by @BraCa here;

Hi - I managed to get it working (newer macbooks command r doesn't work, just ohold the power button).

Note i notice the in game editor has disapered since using FMRTE. Is this expected?

using the freezer settings will do that
